WE HAVE LIGHT&REST, water soon?

After two weeks in Brazil, we finally have light!!

The boys tried to fix our ceiling fan - it broke in the middle of the night we arrived. One spoke English and one spoke Spanish, it ended up in a blown fuse. No fan. And no light. Double jeopardy. So for two weeks we went with no light, they did find a floor flan that is forever stuck in one postion. So around 5:30pm you couldn't really see without a flashlight. Between 4 girls we had one to share.

Fun things happened tho - i.e went to church with my shirt inside out. That was classy.

But now we have a spot light in one corner that plugs into the wall, and the light works. It's quite an attractive setup, ill post pics soon.

Second adventure - My bed is HORRIBLE. It's like three inches of foam and looks to be 20 years old, no springs. So I found another one and stacked them together. I can still feel like wood underneath keeping my off the floor, but its better than just one, && I had my first FULL night of sleep last night!! It was great. Straight-up coffee is becoming drinkable.

Third thing that is going to have you rolling on the floor. I'm writing this with my music blaring, singing along in a towel, covered in suds, sitting on the bathroom floor. The water stopped running. I started my shower an hour ago. I'm full of shampoo and soap suds. But at least there's light! It did go out for five minutes at the thirty minute mark. And my iPad has 5% left so I'm praying water comes back fast lol. It's quite comical. Girls keep coming in and asking if I need anything else and to see if the water has started so they can shower. It's quite hilarious.

Oh just hit over an hour.

This playlist rocks!

iPad died. Left the bathroom after an hour and waited on my bed reading a good book, at two hours I gave up and got dressed. It's been 4 hours and we have no water. Ill finish tomorrow. Thankful for light and wifi we have :)

    1. I was wondering why you didn't just jump in the pool as well. :) Good that you are keeping up the positive attitude through it all!

  2. Thanks for the laughs! Wearing clothes inside out could be the start of a new trend, not rinsing off the suds probably won't work though. :)
